Two Bodies. One Distance weaves together Bach’s Goldberg Variations, electronic music, and contemporary dance into a meditation on distance and physicality.

Since 2020, the way we relate to each other physically has shifted—and may continue to transform. The necessity or obligation to keep distance has changed how we communicate, connect, and move together. Does physical distance lead to despair, or can it bring liberation? Is closeness essential for expressing affection?

Created and performed by dancers Natalia Castaniera and Anna Barbara Bonatto, the piece is presented here for the first time with live music by guitarist and bassist Marko Ferlan.
